conducting daily responsibilities seriously like holding to budgets, and limiting spending
6. Are there any services or amenities the city is currently providing that are not high priority or even
not wanted by the citizenry?

Everything is high priority to us, lots want roads fixed which we are doing,they want parks which
we are working with they want ordanices enforcement which we are doing,these were not done
before.

7. Where do you see the city in 10 years if it stays on its present course? Are there any measures
that need to be taken now to avert problems in the future?

Water resources and engineering must be a priority. Streets/Parks & Recreation must be stepped
up.We need a REAL police Dept facility, and Fire Dept as well. New avenues of finding, accruing
revenue has to happen. At the pace we're on, our city will get passed by, suffer population loss,
and miss out on new industry opportunities. There is are 10,000 new homes planned for
construction in Rhome in next 5 yrs. Infra has to be fortified.
8. What strategies do you have in mind to keep your city financially viable?

Getting grants for rds and parks so as not to have to raise property taxes

Community Activities on a monthly basis that create revenue, are fun, enjoyable, and continue for
years to come with a true family atmosphere
9. Do you believe that your city should implement more or less code enforcement and do you
believe that code enforcement is an important revenue stream for your city?

Code enforcement should be but not for revenue

When more regulations are increased, growth seems to suffer. Especially in small towns
morphing into Big towns with increased population.
10. Many developers are approaching suburban cities with an urban mixed use development concept
which combines commercial, retail, and multifamily dwellings in one package. What is your
assessment of the concept? Is it a good fit for your city?

It is it will bring jobs and yes water and more house tops that will help in taxes

I absolutely do. Just south of Rhome, Texas is a great Community called Haslet, Texas where
we see apartments, a Walmart, several eateries, service stations, medical facilities all inhabiting
property next to one another. The biggest hindrance is that the buildings growth has far out
scaled the development of proper streets, room, to drive, and proper traffic light flow
11. Inevitably, as the city grows and new developments come which offer larger tax revenue than
single family dwellings, there will be longtime residents whose lives will be radically changed due
to displacement or loss of their lifestyles as they knew them. What is your message to them?

Be patient. Our area, outside the Frisco area, is absolutely one of the fastest growing regions in
Texas. Lifestyles are being enhanced immensely by all the developments we are being blessed
with in our area
12. Do you believe mayors and city councils have the right to shut down businesses and determine
which services are essential during a pandemic or other government declared emergency?

O heck no. No flipping way! That's what a lot of liberal Jackwagons in liberal, left wing dominated
communities during the CV19 fiasco. The liberal ones who demanded masks and closures of
schools and businesses, had people suffer the worst
